My Substack is a mix of sports, humor, and personal stories (which can be quite serious) plus a heaping helping of whatever random nonsense pops into my head while I write. My stuff can get pretty out there sometimes- I was diagnosed with ADHD last year (at the age of 49) and think that may at least partially drive some of the zaniness.
Off of Substack, my writing is mostly poetry, although I am wrapping up a 13-page obituary for my Granny Patsy. Here’s a note I wrote the night she died:
Hmm… I survived all three rounds of your Basic Substacker posts. You haven’t gotten me yet! Is there a part 4?
Not yet! I see you like sports which is nice. I'll have to do one on that sometime.
